Adult Mental Health

We each have a story. The chapters in each story often leave us feeling pained, confused, broken, stressed, anxious, uncertain - the list goes on.

While working with me, adults of all ages will focus on managing stressful moments and overcome hurdles.

In the end only three things matter:
how much you loved, how gently you lived, and how gracefully you let go of things not meant for you.

Postpartum & Prenatal Support

Sessions are held for expectant and new parents as well. This is a very difficult time, especially as you are learning to juggle your own individual life with the new life of the baby growing inside or who has recently been born.

We will work together to help you get the support you need so that you are able to relieve stress, anxiety, and depression for you and your baby's health.

Taking care of you is extremely important for the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of your child, as well as the relationship you have with your baby.

Parent & Infant/Toddler Therapy

I offer sessions for families to navigate the stressors of parenthood. Parents can feel disconnected or challenged with their little ones.  This leaves families feeling drained, upset, and overwhelmed. Individual sessions with your infant or toddler can alleviate these issues. I work with families on the specific needs of the parent/child relationship. Through play and communication, parents and children enhance, grow, and change, together.

Parents will benefit if they experience:
stress, anxiety, sadness, guilt, fear, worry over their child's future.

Infants/Toddlers will benefit if they experience:
tantrums, feeding issues, sleep problems, separation anxiety, jealousy with new siblings, hitting/biting/yelling, potty training issues, defiance.

My expertise in infant/toddler mental health can be a supportive experience for parents as they navigate the world of being a mom or dad.

Play Therapy

Any child experiencing behavioral or emotional challenges, or has faced difficult circumstances, can benefit from play therapy. I believe that play is the medium for childhood expression. Through supportive play, children will be encouraged to share their feelings and use toys as a way to channel their emotions.
